Steal An Egg update logData page
Last checked
Steal An Egg has no official patch notes, so this steal an egg update log tracks the one thing that still exists: the Roblox Games API's own updated timestamp for this universe, read on a cadence and logged with the date. It is a measurement, not a changelog: it can show that the game changed and roughly when, never what changed.
How to read this steal an egg update log
The panel below reads live from the Games API, cached at the edge for 30 minutes. A short gap here does not mean the game changed thirty minutes ago; it means our cache is at most thirty minutes behind the API.
1d 08h 32m

Re-reads both endpoints now instead of waiting for the cache.
Dated observations
Every reading we have for Steal An Egg, oldest first. Two rows ( 2026-08-07 and 2026-08-13) are a fan wiki's own snapshots of the same field, credited as third-party because we did not read the endpoint ourselves on those dates; every row from 2026-08-14 onward is our direct read.
| Checked | Signal | Value read | Changed | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| API timestamp | 2026-08-07T12:53:38Z | No | ||
| API timestamp | 2026-08-13T18:31:39.737Z | Yes | ||
| API timestamp | 2026-08-14T01:11:17.575Z | Yes | ||
| Badge roster | 6 badges (WELCOME!, Hatched Secret!, Hatched Eternal!, Hatched Divine!, Divine Trail!, Angelic Treadmill!) | No | ||
| API timestamp | 2026-08-16T05:50:39.196Z | Yes | ||
| Badge roster | 6 badges, same six as the first check | No |
This table records that something changed, not what. The Games API's updated field moving is consistent with a balance change, a new area, a bug fix, or an unrelated metadata edit. The endpoint does not distinguish between them, and neither does this page.
Why there are no official Steal An Egg patch notes, and what we track instead
The official game description carries no patch history and no version number, and a changelog search across the developer's own channels and the wider web turned up nothing publicly dated. That is a checked absence, not a place we stopped looking early.
What the Games API does publish is an updated timestamp, the same field our badge-reading method note uses for the rarity page, applied here to a different question. Every time that field's value differs from our last reading, we record the new value, the date we saw it, and mark the row changed. We cross-check the badge count on the same cadence: a seventh badge appearing would be a real, dated signal that new content shipped, the same way the six on the rarity page confirmed the game's hatch tiers.
This is deliberately a narrow instrument. It cannot say whether an update added a pet, changed a price, or fixed a typo: none of that is exposed by either endpoint. What it can say, honestly, is whether the game has changed since a given date, and when we last checked.
Steal An Egg update log FAQ
When was Steal An Egg last updated?
As of our latest check, the Games API's `updated` field read 2026-08-16T05:50:39Z, which was already a change from the 2026-08-14 reading before it. The live panel above shows the current gap between that timestamp and now.
Does Steal An Egg have official patch notes?
No. The official description contains no patch history, no version number, and no changelog link, and we found none published anywhere else. That absence is itself a checked, dated finding, not an assumption.
How do you know when Steal An Egg updates, if there are no patch notes?
We read the Roblox Games API's `updated` timestamp for this universe on a cadence, cross-check it against the six-badge Badges API in case a new achievement appears, and log every reading with the date we took it. A moved timestamp means the developer changed something; it does not say what.
Has Steal An Egg added new pets or badges recently?
Not by badge count. The Badges API still returns the same six badges (nextPageCursor null) it returned at launch on 2026-07-25, most recently confirmed 2026-08-17. A seventh badge appearing would be a real, dated signal that something new shipped, and we would log it here the same day.
How often does Steal An Egg update?
We cannot say on a fixed schedule from four data points. What the record shows is that the `updated` timestamp moved between three of our four checks between 2026-08-07 and 2026-08-16, which is consistent with near-daily changes, not that a fixed cadence is confirmed.
Where can I find the Steal An Egg changelog?
Nowhere, as far as we could find. This page is not a substitute for one, since it can only show that the game changed and roughly when, not what changed. If an official changelog appears we will link it here instead of continuing to infer from the timestamp.
